Good bookWell， the mafia is up to no good again。 Lots of action and danger going on。 Excellent characters and a wonderful story。 I loved the interaction between the characters。 Lots of love and romance。

I am wavering between 3 and 3。5 stars。 For Genevieve to be forced into an arranged marriage with Lucien， I thought she would be resistant and combative much longer than she did。 She seemed to cave pretty quickly。 Genevieve continued to that thoughts of rebellion， but her actions didn't really match。 I guess it was understandable since she didn't have many， if any， options。 There were a few sweet， gentle moments between Lucien and Genevieve。The story about the potential war between families， the I am wavering between 3 and 3。5 stars。 For Genevieve to be forced into an arranged marriage with Lucien， I thought she would be resistant and combative much longer than she did。 She seemed to cave pretty quickly。 Genevieve continued to that thoughts of rebellion， but her actions didn't really match。 I guess it was understandable since she didn't have many， if any， options。 There were a few sweet， gentle moments between Lucien and Genevieve。The story about the potential war between families， the intrusion of the cartel， the betrayal， violence， danger， corruption， and family dynamic was much more interesting than Lucien and Genevieve's relationship。 I thought that was boring。I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book received via Booksprout。I guess I will go with the 3。5 stars。 。。。more

This was a great story。 Lucian sets up an arranged marriage with Genevieve hoping for a calm and obedient wife。 That is not what he got。 As these two work on their marriage， outside enemies threaten his family and wife。 Receiving a call from Genevieve and hearing her capture， Lucian will stop at nothing to get her back。 This book is fast paced and the tension between these two is amazing。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。

Good story lots of very rough sex。 There are two parts that lowered the star count。 One the first time between them was very questionable about consent。 It almost to me was no consent。 Very big no no。 I also didn’t like the “punishment” scene。 It was more like a beating to me。 The story was good though and the progression of their relationship was good too。 If you can get past the questionable parts you will enjoy。Received a copy from BookSprout。
